Fresh Interactive - About us
Fresh Interactive have been designing and producing electronic media since 1996.
We began by creating multimedia presentation give-away's on floppy disk the "Salesman in Your Pocket!" and simple websites, when the Internet was in its infancy.
There were two major commonalities with these media.
1: The powerful interactive capability that electronic media offers as a communication tool.
2: The small file sizes required to squeeze multimedia onto a floppy disk and the small file sizes needed for the Internet to give quick response due to the limited download speeds available. These two ideas are still a part of the work we do today. The scope of the company now includes designing PowerPoint and other presentations, interactive CD-ROM and DVD and providing it to the educational and professional association arenas as well as the original business to business activities.
We also work with organisations such as The GLA and Hampshire County Council in a consultancy capacity to develop an overall strategy for the best use of new media for specific projects.
For additional requirements bordering on our speciality, we have developed a pool of partners who will provide any expert support needed in a variety of allied disciplines. Examples of this is are video production, photography and animation.
We have realised that the keys to a successful relationship with clients are developing an easy working relationship, avoiding jargon and having our aim firmly fixed on moving the clients organisation on to the next level.
The "Salesmen in your Pocket"
Fresh started out by producing interactive multimedia delivered on a floppy disk. No small feat when you consider the tiny capacity of a floppy disk.
We became expert at designing interactive presentations for the tiny capacity floppy disk.
To get the message across we use educational and presentational methods as well as sophisticated techniques including where appropriate hypnotherapy and ideas from neuro linguistic programming.
Worlds First Language
In association with a leading university Keith Farmer, the founder of Fresh, produced the worlds first interactive multimedia language teaching package.
Teaching English to teachers, the package used massive 12 inch video disks for the video content. Imagine a 12 inch diameter DVD!
